about us

Welcome to Casting Cares Radio Program. My name is Merrily Huether-Hagerman. After being married for 31 years to my husband Pastor Brent Huether, the Lord called him home to give him his rewards and he now is busy working on heavenly mansions (I'm sure of this, cause Brent loved to build.) Then the Lord brought Pastor Jerel Hagerman into my life who had also been married for 31 years to his wife Cindy. Cindy went home to see Jesus after being diagnosed the same rare liver cancer my husband had, just 7 months before Brent wenthome.God is faithful and tho our hearts do not understand, we carry on. Jerel and I joke that between the two of us..we have 62 years of marriage and life experiences. That is why God laid this on our hearts to start Casting Cares. There are times in your life when you just wish you could ask a question to someone that could bring God's view and common sense to your situation.

We both raised families in the ministry, had joys and struggles and also faced death, and now it is our desire to be transparent and come along side of you and offer God's insight and a personal perspective. We know that we are to Cast our Cases upon Him (Jesus) for He cares for us, but sometimes it is nice to just get a unbiased opinion from a outsider. That would be Jerel and me!!

Send us your questions on marriage and life issues and we will pray and study and address you question on our program (unless you ask us not too!) We have found that there is always someone else going thru the same problem out there and byanwering your questions in return it helps others. We would love to meet you if you are ever in our area. Jerel is the pastor of Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel in Yucca Valley, Ca. If you come visit us, be sure and let us know that you have listened to our program Casting Cares. It is always ablessing to know who was the recipient of our voices on the airwaves, as it still amazes me! God bless you lead and strengthen you on your journey.Stay under the Spout where the blessings come out!

In Jesus love,
Pastor Jerel and Merrily Hagerman
